You can serve it with a mixed green salad, rice, couscous or quinoa.
Use fresh spices if possible, such as grated ginger root and turmeric. If not available use powders, but be careful as quality and flavor can vary a lot depending on where you buy them from.
In season I like to use fresh Apricot, cut in halves or smaller depending on the size. Do not choose them to ripe, as they would mash-up during cooking. Off-season uses dry ones.
You can add on Raisins in the recipe as well for example
